Woodpeckers are always fun to photograph but for me can be hard to get good shots. I've lucked out quite a few times & brought home some decent pictures.

Red-bellied Woodpeckers are probably the most common ones seen in yards at feeders.

Downy Woodpecker

Downy Woodpeckers are always around if you have any type of suet feeders out.

Hairy Woodpecker

I've only seen 3 Hairy Woodpeckers in my life so I consider them rare.
