Barred Owl-June 4, 2011

One of my favorite spots to shoot birds & bears is the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWGNRA). The amount of different wildlife to see & photograph is unmatched in Sussex County. On any given day you could see a family of bears, an owl, bobcat, numerous bird species, whitetail deer or even a porcupine just to name a few. I've been going there for 7 years & you truly never know what you're going to see there. All the photos on this page were taken in the walpack section of the recreation area.
